TERMS OF BUSINESS
A deposit of 50% of the daily rate value or 30% of the package amount will secure your safari.
In the event of a client cancelling a safari less than 6 months (180 days) prior to the commencement date of the safari, the deposit will be forfeited if the dates cannot be rescheduled to alternate date/s within the same season.
Safaris postponed/cancelled more than 6 months prior to the commencement date of the hunt will see full deposit value transferable to the following season. Trophy rates will be set at that of the season the hunt takes place in unless daily rates or packages are settled in full to lock in rates for the following season.
Balance of the daily rate or package fees is payable on commencement of your safari. Trophy fees and extra animal on package deals are payable at the end of the safari.
Payment can be made in cash, bank draft or credit card.

How much does a South Africa hunting safari cost?
The total combines the applicable daily rate or package, trophy fees, hunter-to-guide ratio, lodge nights for observers, rifle hire or ammunition, taxidermy, shipping, travel, tips and the exclusions shown above. What is the difference between daily rates and trophy fees?
Daily rates cover the stated safari services for a hunting or observer day. Trophy fees apply to animals under the written hunt terms unless they are expressly included in a package.
Are airport transfers included?
The published inclusions specify pickup and drop-off at East London Airport. Confirm timing and any different route in the quotation.
Is rifle hire available?
The current list shows rifle hire at $25 per day, with ammunition charged separately. Confirm the available rifle, calibre, fit, ammunition and terms.
How is a safari secured?
The published terms state a 50% deposit on the daily-rate value or 30% of a package amount. Read the complete cancellation and transfer terms above and confirm them in writing.
Are prices guaranteed for future years?
No general guarantee is implied. The published terms explain when full settlement may lock rates; ask Lalapa which season, validity and terms apply.
